Privacy Policy

Effective September 30, 2026. In case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.

This document describes what data we process in connection with the StageSync mobile app, the StageSync Studio editor (studio.stagesync.eu) and the stagesync.eu website, why we process it, and what rights you have.

1. Controller and contact

The data controller is Kornel Macherzyński, the creator of StageSync. For any matters concerning personal data, write to [email protected].

2. What data we process

• Account: email address, encrypted password, and the name or nickname visible to your band.
• Band: band membership, musical role and permissions granted by the leader.
• Band content: songs (lyrics, chords, keys, tempo), setlists, change history and photos added to songs.
• Beta sign-ups: email address, band name, number of members and phone types, if you fill out the form on the website.
• Technical data: basic server logs (e.g. IP address, request time) needed for security and troubleshooting.

During a LIVE session, phones connect directly over the local network. Session content is not transmitted through our servers.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Running your account and operating the app: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Sending verification and password reset codes: performance of a contract.
• Contact about testing: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
• Security and troubleshooting: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Who we share data with

We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf:

• Supabase: database, authentication and photo storage.
• Brevo: sending emails with codes.
• Cloudflare: hosting for the website and Studio.
• Expo (EAS): delivering app updates.

We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

5. How long we keep data

We keep account data for as long as the account exists. Band content is available to band members for as long as the band exists. Beta sign-ups are kept until the testing program ends or until consent is withdrawn.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to have it erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object, as well as to withdraw your consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).

7. Deleting your account

To delete your account and the data associated with it, write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account. We will delete it without undue delay.

8. Cookies

The stagesync.eu website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Studio and the app store on your device only the data needed for login and offline work.

9. Changes to this policy

We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email. The current version is always available at this address.
